El Amigo Mexican Restaurant

Okay so my husband and I have a problem. For over a year we have made our weekly visit to El amigo. We get the same dishes every time. We are never disappointed. I love my choripollo so much I have made an album full of pictures of it on my phone. We start getting antsy halfway through the week counting down the hours for our Friday El amigo visit. Always great, prompt service and consistent quality of food.

Thank you MAC for best service and AMAZING delicious food!! It's the best Mexican restaurant on our road trip from Charleston, SC to Raleigh, NC. Neat & clean restaurant. Highly recommended to neighbors and around town people must try authentic Mexican food

My wife and I went there today with some friends and she had a California burrito which is absolutely excellent. I would highly recommend it. APC with chicken was also good. I had the combination plate and it was good but not very filling. Service was good. Restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are also clean will go back for sure.

From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. The hostess was warm and friendly. She saw that I am pregnant (9 months belly is huge) she sat as at a booth I could fit in. She was very considerate. I asked where the restroom was she asked me there herself. I mean stellar customer service. Waitress was great as well. Fast service. And the food was super authentic! El Amigo is topped our cuisine list.

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and authentic. The service is fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. Their drink menu is great too, with tasty options that pair perfectly with the food. On top of that, the prices are amazing for the quality and portion sizes you get. Whether you’re a fan of classic Mexican dishes or trying something new, you won’t be disappointed.

This is some of THEE BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had!!! The restaurant is big with plenty of seating & parking & the service was pretty good as well. I ordered the fish & it ended up being 2 huge pieces of grilled fish & it was DELICIOUS!!! I also tried the margarita flights which were also bigger than expected but were good as well. Food portions are definitely hefty & you’ll definitely be full afterwards
